Fire Detection System Design

As part of the design and development process it is expected that each clients requirements are defined in order to meet the current and future expections of the system.. As specialist Fire Alarm Systems suppliers and installers we would work with the Stadia Safety management team and would participate in the development process with the following organisations:-

  • The Building Conrol Officer
  • The Local Authority Fire Services
  • The Health and Safety Executives
  • The Clients Inspector
  • Nominated Building Contract/M & E Engineers

The outcome of the system development process would be to determin the design criteria. Points for consideration include:

  • The Prime Purpose of the Proposed Fire System (Protection of Life or Property or Both)
  • The Type of Catagory of the Fire System for the required level of Protection
  • An agreed list of requirements and variations by all intended parties
  • A “Cause and Effect – Fire Plan” which will provide a matrix of how the system will function.
  • A complete specification and drawings for all protected area and proposed systems
